The Department of Applied Social Sciences is based on the Pasing Campus, alongside the Department of Business Administration (FK 10) and the State Institute for the Training of Subject Teachers.

This spacious campus in south-west Munich offers students and lecturers everything they need for successful studies and a pleasant stay.

Under this motto, we at the Pasing Campus have set ourselves the goal of becoming climate-neutral by 2028. We want to prove that the vision of a climate-neutral campus can become a reality and, in doing so, lead the way for the entire university. The key to success lies in cooperation and collaboration between the lecturers, students and staff members of Departments 10 and 11, the Facilities Management team and all other stakeholders at our university.
Canteen and StuCafé
The canteen and the StuCafé on the campus are facilities run by the Studentenwerk.
Every week, the Studierendenwerk offers a wide and varied selection of dishes in the canteen. Both the menu and the prices can be found on the information screens outside and inside the canteen.

At the StuCafé, you can get hot drinks, baked goods and light snacks.

9.00 am – 12.00 pm

The method of payment at both venues is your magnetic card (student card or staff ID card).
You can top these up with cash at a machine in the entrance area of the canteen.

The Library
The joint library of the Departments of Applied Social Sciences and Business Administration is located in Dept 10. You can find all the information on the website.
Classrooms, Lecture Theatres and Laboratories
From small seminar rooms with flexible seating arrangements to large lecture theatres, there is space to meet all the requirements of teaching and studies, enabling learning content to be conveyed and explored in depth.
Whether digital teaching methods or traditional approaches are used, state-of-the-art facilities are a given, even in the venerable rooms of the university building itself.
Various modern laboratories, as additional learning environments, offer practical and creative opportunities to test and put theory into practice.
