The department is managed by the Department Executive Committee, which comprises the Dean and two members each from the Vice-Dean’s Office and the Registrar’s Office.
The Faculty Council decides on matters relating to research and teaching that are of fundamental importance. It adopts the department’s regulations, in particular the examination regulations.
The Joint Committee discusses the allocation of earmarked study grants for investments or staffing measures aimed at improving study conditions within the department.
The working group was founded by colleagues who see their theoretical and practical roots in social work. Their aim is to give social work a clearer voice within the department’s highly diverse academic staff.
