Creative Lab

The Creative Lab focuses on the visual arts, particularly painting. Participants learn about painting techniques and how ‘painting’ can be used as an aesthetic medium in various areas of social work and in the education sector as a whole. Furthermore, various key areas of the visual arts are explored in the course modules, including: painting as a field of experimentation, creative appropriation of space through artistic means, visual language, museum education and experimental printmaking (non-toxic etching).

The materials, equipment and storage facilities required for each project are available in the laboratory.
