The German APN & ANP Network (g.e.V.) and the APN & ANP Academic Society, Southern Regional Group
The German Network APN & ANP g.e.V. aims to promote networking amongst Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) and to foster an understanding of Advanced Practice Nursing (APN) and Advanced Nursing Practice (ANP).
The APN & ANP Academic Professional Association, Southern Regional Group, promotes a fruitful exchange between nursing professionals at regional level in southern Germany.
Main objectives of rAFG South:
- Networking and public relations to raise the profile of APN & ANP and make them more accessible to all stakeholders in the healthcare sector
- Enhanced collaboration between universities, clinical institutions across all sectors and individuals specialising in advanced nursing practice (ANP)
- Role development and refining the self-image of APNs
- The development of specialist discourse and the establishment of a culture of research
- Creating a profile for an APN
- the development and application of ethical skills at ANP level
- Implementation and legitimisation of ANP as an expanded and more in-depth nursing practice
Particular emphasis is placed on ensuring that the development of ANP is needs-based, based on the premise that the development of care is always conceived in conjunction with the development of needs- and requirements-oriented care for clients.
The 2019 and 2020 ANP conferences in southern Germany are the result of the excellent collaboration between rAFG Süd and the three Bavarian universities offering ANP master's degrees, and are set to continue on an annual basis. Take a look at the proceedings of the 2nd ANP Conference.
If you would like to find out more or have any questions about the network, please contact the President of the Southern Regional Group: Prof. Dr. Christine Boldt
The next ANP conference organised by the Academic Society of the South will take place on 28 November 2024 in Regensburg. Further information can be found in theleaflet for the 2024 ANP conference.
